First build: Tamiya 1/700 HMS Electra.
Western Approaches Colours, scratch 3inch HA instead of Aft TT, cut down main mast, Oerlikon on AA platform. Toms modelworks photo etch and eduard figures, and 3d model parts oerlikon.
Probably didnt cut down aft funnel enough, and a few paint issues (no fine grey primer available in local shops) so used tamiya rattle can but did not enjoy brushed acryllics on top
Random blue elastic and clingfilm to simulate sea for now as not sure how I will display

Great build! Do you plan to build the other E class destroyer that was in Force Z, HMS Express, as well?

To think there's actually a full- Force Z /Battle of Malaya 1/700 set out there from Tamiya. (though I've always wondered why they don't include the S-class destroyer HMS Tenedos in that set even she technically wasn't present during the air attack that sank the two capital ships in Force Z)
