This is something I started in 2007 when I was very bad at making models...so there are a lot of imperfections in assembly.

I left it mostly built for eleven years. I thought it would be better to finish this than trash it.

I took some of it apart and did my best clean up seam lines and sprue attachment points on the built model.

I tried to use up my scrap PE railings and went with the kit with all the other parts.

Not the best work in the world I'll admit but I am very pleased with the result of this recovery. I feel like I built confidence working in this smaller scale and improved my ability to work with fine details in a relaxed manner. Also, I've begun to make a transition from silk thread for rigging to a mixture of silk and stretched sprue. Kept thing simple to keep on track with finished this so the rigging complexity is minimal. This was finished sometime during summer of '18.

are those kit quad 40mm's & 20mm's or 3rd party?

These are the kit's guns.

The 40mm I liked well enough, although I had to carefully sand between the barrels to remove the mold seam.

The 20mm has the shield mounted too low I think but I wasn't going to replace them...
