How very odd! Were the B and X turrets' barrels able to lower to horizontal when directed to either beam?
The original designs, from what year?
Were these precursors to the Satsumas, or alternate designs proposed after the Dreadnought and Michigan classes were launched with superimposed turrets?

Am going from memory here, but I believe the battleship concept actually predates HMS Dreadnought. It's an advanced design for its day
