Edit: I'm planning to add an ocean base to this model and more deck items, i also wish to add some signal flags, any suggestion on a common/fun signal flag combinations suitable for this ship? Thanks in advance!

I created a blog to archive my builds, feel free to visit: https://seven00scales.wordpress.com/2020/05/02/1-700-uss-johnston-dd-557/
It has WIP photos there too!

Very good looking model. Beats me how 1/700 scale modelers can achieve such results!

Very nice details and realistic paint finishes.

Lots to see on your blog, too. :nod_1:

Beautiful build, Katobase!

BTW, did you cast a new hull with plating strakes and non-slip surfacing yourself?

Thanks for sharing!

No, i'm a very casual modeler hahaha this was the kit it self. I found these relatively cheap resin kits on ebay and brought a few, the details are nice but sometimes there are significant defects, i wouldn't buy them again unless it's for practice PE or experiment
