And few more pics... including all 4 ships from Denmark Strait (Prinz Eugen has a Baltic camo though, while others are pretty close to the battle camouflage, I think only PoW would have had a cleaner hull + black top and white stripes on main mast, may be slightly different boat placement). Hope you like!

Thanks Dan, The Hasegawa kit is all rather poorly made in terms of the hull halves, and in terms of detail it is extremely poor also. A dream for super detailing a nightmare and total contrast to this Flyhawk kit of PoW! P. |

Great work! Your paintwork is really showing off on that pic with all four models. Of course, only one ship is more beautiful than the others ![]() |

Ahaha, yes, she has a bit of a red bottom situation which has to be remedied me thinks. And it might be a chance of masking those hull plates I didnt at the time. Then again, I would have to leave decks grey... too late for that brown business. |

Also, I'd love to see a shot of your keel block base without the ship on it ![]() |

Dont say I havent warned you. Thank you! Martocticvs wrote: Also, I'd love to see a shot of your keel block base without the ship on it ![]() Thank you, and the base looks a little something like this. Just a bunch of pre cut styrene rods arranged in a shape that fits the bottom (not perfect!) and then painted and dry brushed and worked over with pigments for maximum effect. This is a base from Graf Spee project I did, but it gives you a rough idea. Methods haven't changed much. It works from a distance. ![]()
