Here is the USS Lexington, AVT-16 as she was seen in 1988. This is the USS Ticonderoga (CV-14) 1/500 model from Atlantis Models that I had in the stash. I learned a lot on this build and there's a lot I'd change if I had to do it again since this is esentially a 1950's mold but it was enjoyable to make the conversion. I used a special ordered island from ModelMonkey and custom decals from Starfighter.

Very nice build of a kit and a manufacturer I have never heard of. Is Atlantis re-doing old Aurora kits?

It’s the old Renewal mold that Atlantis got from them.
