And a huge thank you to you both in return! Glad you like our Cohoes. Yep, she sure is "unique" - and, frankly, is so weirdly designed that it almost looks like she's sailing in the WRONG DIRECTION. The original camouflage sheets were truly invaluable! :thanks:

Verry Good!!!

Not to bust but the life rings back then matched the color of the surface on which they were hanging. They weren't red and certainly not dayglo orange because that color hadn't been developed yet.
Note the following. There is a life ring in each picture

I served on Nettender AN-27 ... Later I sent for and obtained microfilm of the original plans of the Aloe Class Nettenders. Anyone wishing to use this film are welcome to use it. http://www.nettender27.com
