You may also want to contact the Harbour Museum in Hamburg (
https://shmh.de/de/deutsches-hafenmuseum). They acquired another Flying-P-Liner of that time, the PEKING, that has been moored in New York for decades and was about to be scrapped. The museum will have her restored for static display. The people there have collated considerable amount of relevant information that may be useful for PADUA as well.
There is also the PASSAT in Lübeck-Travemünde, which I believe is kept in her last working state of the mid-1950s, when she was 'grounded' after the loss of her sister PAMIR in a storm:
