Hi all, :wave_1:

How is everyone?

I'm new here in this forum.
I'm a modeler [store bought kits, kitbash and scratchbuilds], new to ship scratchbuilding.

I'm looking for 4 plans, but I don't want full detailed plans. I can't afford to buy those, besides.... all I am looking for, are hull plans for the ribs [or frames], fore, aft and side views, nothing more.
These are the only ships I'm interested in building.

I have done extencive reseach, collected all the fotos I need for detailing the carriers [ortho drawings of the top/flight decks, bridges ect...], except for the lower hulls. :cry_3:

The only thing I'm not certain of yet, is the scale I want to build them in, but it'll be between 1/1250 and 1/700.

The ship hull plans I'm looking for are [and can be any era, since, I think, the only things not changed in refits, are the below water hulls] :thumbs_up_1: ;

USS Enterprise CV-6,

USS Enterprise CVN-65,

USS Coral Sea CV-43, [or either of the other two, CV-41 AND 42, since the hulls are the same]

NAe Sao Paulo A-12, [ex-Foch - R 99, French Carrier]

Could someone here help me out? Does anyone have these? :help_1: :please:

I saw part of the line drawing plans for the Sao Paulo, in a thread called "Carrier hull construction", by a member called "Jimmy Conway", before I signed up in the forum.

Anyway, I do hope somebody can help a guy out here. :please:

I await a responce, :thumbs_up_1: and thanks in advance. :thanks:

Have a good night.... :wave_1:

What time period for your Coral Sea? There is a General Booklet of Plans for the Midway in 1987 here:

Hi Tim,

Well, first off, thanks for replying. :thanks:

The time period is, between 1979 and 1985, but I think, there were no major refits done on her till she was decommisioned and scrapped. :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:
So the file you posted would be good, except for one thing. I tryed downloading it, and it said, "File is corrupted and can not be fixed". :cry_3: :cry_3:
Would you know of another? Or would you have it?

Again thanks.

Have a good day.

Hmm, strange. It works fine in my browser. Make sure you have Adobe reader installed.

In any case, PM me your email address and I'll send it to you via email, if further attempts are of no luck.

Hi Jimmy, thanks, I can understand the lines plan, [ lines 1 to 5, on right side, but there is one thing I can't make out well.
The seperation, between plates/ribs [I circled in red what I do not understand].

Hi Vahmp, I sent you some simplified plans, and there it means to show where the ribs are applied in the hull.
Nice regards: Jimmy
