First ship ive ever completed, first attempt at water, first go at rigging, fist go at Dazzle camo, all in all i really enjoyed this build (part of the Pacific War Group Build over at Britmodeller)

will take some decent pics once the decals and touchups are done and add them to the Gallery

cheers

Andy

looks cool! which photo etch set did you use, and how difficult was it to mask for that camouflage?

Andy, congratulations on a great piece of work! The way you have done the diorama is so highly evocative of that great ship plowing through heavy seas. Outstanding, if I may say so.

Just finished adding the Flags,

Image

I made these by taking some kitchen foil, giving it a couple of coats of Citadel 'Skull White' then painted the signal flags, then a tiny dab of matt varnish to affix them to the rigging

shes currently flying an admirals from,
then the Battleship identifier aboe the Union flag,
then from the foremast 'K' 'G' and 'V'

from the mainmast she has the White Ensign, and the numbers '4' and '1'

now thats all done ill take some proper pictures tomorrow and get them added to the gallery :)
