Hello all

news of richelieu that is not quite finished ......indeed, there were to make the propellers ,it's done!! the result

Image

this has been long to make ,if you're interested, a link to the production process

http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x33 ... f47a7e.jpg

is a long process :-)

more seriously, the propellers with a coat of bright white paint

Image

I am going use Alclad metallic tint (polished brass) the result

Image

Normally, this is a black coat that must be applied, but ,I prefer the result with the white coat (less "glitz")

a reminder, the helices which was provided by tumpy :-(

Image

For the four lines which are on the hull ,I wait the decals of the tonnage measurement line,a friend is gonna the draws and print(thank you Bruno:-))
see you soon for the final photos
cheers
Nicolas

Hello all

For fans of Richelieu, the Publishings “LELA PRESSE “ http://www.avions-bateaux.com/produit/lela-presse/1981 , have published a quarterly journal her name is “Naval Monographies “ and the N°1 is on the richelieu

Image

The iconographic content, is rich, supported by of the 3D view, which is superb
and finally the text is bilingual (French English)
I recommend it
cheers
Nicolas

In fact the character of Wally, has become a stowaway,"the dangerous" character in real

Hi Nicolas,

because L'Arsendal makes a set now for the Richelieu, it becomes really interesting for me to make this pretty battleship too and to dig out my kit slowly.
Only with this I have a little chance to get is a little bit closer to your awesome building and scratch orgy

Hi Nicolas,

you did an outstanding job with your detailing. :worship_1: my deepest respect. Your Richelieu is simply breathtaking.
I really love your attitude with your labels on the pics and the figure on he modell. Some sense of humor is far to often missing in modelling.

cheers Peter
