RE: HMS Repulse Dec 1941 question
In Repulse's final camo of black and gray in Dec. 1941, what color were the ship's boats painted? Were they their original colors, or were they painted black, seeing as they were located in a black area?

With most schemes the boats matched the camouflage of the area they were in. I have drawings of Repulse wearing her final scheme in book 2 of my series on British and Commonwealth Warship Camouflage WWII which should be released next year.
