Hello,
I just finished the big crane. It is not dry yet. (LOL)

I put her in a situation on the diorama. It is not fragile. She is very very fragile.

This is not setting down worried, my attachment between the vertical and the horizontal part. With the vibrations of a trip, but I'll cross the fingers.

Wow!!! FAN-TAS-TIQUE!!!
The crane, the composition, all the equipment, it looks amazing! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Only one thing: the ground of the dockyard looks a bit uniform to me for such a large area, and sometimes contrasts a bit too much with the cars and equipment on top. Maybe it need some more variation in color and (if still possible) texture? Maybe some dusty colors can be useful to tie things together? Just an idea to perfect an otherwise amazing diorama… :)
And not necessary, but maybe fun: at the front right of the diorama, you have some place to put one or more boats in the water. It can be sailing past Fuso, or just lying along her hull.

Cheers,

Marijn

Hello,

Thank you very much for your comments and participation on this post.

Thank you to Marijn for these tips. I Held account of the previous board by reversing the direction of Fuso. But, I can not do anything. The whole dock party is over and with the large crane in the middle which is very fragile, I will limit work on the dock to the installation of electric lines and laying of characters.

Currently I start painting FUSO. Between the base paint and aging, I left for three months of work.

Again thank you to all of you.

Best regard
Alain.

Hello,

Just a little late updating this post.

In a first time artillery AA of the Fuso with simple carriages, double and triple. To do this, I used products from IFINI-MODEL. They are superb, but relatively more difficult to climb.

Then I made a filter made from burnt sienna.

Do I make a filter that passes on the piece. This filter is removed immediately after with a wet brush. Work a small area!

Glancing on the pictures, the effect of the filter and obvious. His goal is to pass the base coat color.

Below the pictures of the FUSO with the filter on all the pieces.

And finally the turrets of the FUSO completed. The method used relies on the setting up of dark juice (earth shadow burned) in the hollows and thinning of the highlights with Humbrol paint (147).

It remains to make luminous and black traces on the end of the guns.

Hello,

In order to finish the year, I you post the advanced of the FUSO. The end of the FUSO is endless. But well I cling. I think still devote a month to finish.

It remains to finish, aging across the fireplace and rear Tower, boats. The two stars who will be in the docking of the ship. The laying of the guns simple AA and the implementation of the protections around these bags. Planes also that development of the bridge back dedicated to aircraft. The implementation of the air. And finally the sailors.

I'm on this project for exactly 12 months day for day. Knowing that I work every day of the year at the rate of 5 to 6 hours per day. I have therefore devoted to this day 1825 hours on this project.

I'm completely exhausted by the latter. The next one will be much simpler and certainly to the 1/35th (wearing tank US M1070 and its trailer M1000.) And on the D9R bulldozer).

Well, I finished wishing you all good holidays of end of the year.

Best Regards.
Alain.

Simply fantastic work Alain! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:
Magnifique!!!

With such an ambitious project, I already imagined you devote many hours to it every day. Even so, I think you are working very efficiently.

Looking forward to the completely finished dio, and also to your next project, armour or ship.... :)

Cheers,

Marijn

Stunning work to say the least. The quality of the work on the PE is noteworthy as is the weathering. Truly and outstanding build!

I can sympathize with your pain. But, as an outside observer, the effort appears worth it. I hope the rest of the project passes quickly for you.
