Re: 1/200 IJN NAGATO
Love the small boats, especially the open rowing boats. Making one is a challenge, producing several all the same even more of a challenge.
I am slowly working away on a 1:120 scale APA, which carries a huge number of 36' LCVP. Creating those is a looming task. As you know well, half the fun of real scratch building is arriving at the solutions!
Glad to see someone still producing all the details including the plethora of small AA!
Cheers: Tom

An impressive array of searchlights! You can imagine the feeling of the searchlight operators before a night action, ready to turn the lights on. No protection and the focus of all the return fire!

Hi Song,
I'm watching your projects for long time now.
Absolutely fascinating and incredible craftmanship!
But say: How will you paint all that lots of tiny stuff in the end?
The idea of dismantling all this wonderful artwork once again for painting seems horror to me...
Best regards
Stefan

He doesn't paint the upper works! Wood work on display!
The Shogun certainly has a fine view from the top of the "Pagoda".

Most have problems with this in styrene, and you do it in wood... as said before, sunning work, incredible detail...

Very impressive to create items with many examples within the ship. Breaking the fitting down into requisite pieces and fabricating the parts, then assembling. Old fashioned scratch building here, no resin casting or 3D printing!
