I hate building the 25mm AA in styrene or PE. To do so in wood is mind boggling to me. You have far, far deeper reserves of patience then I.

It is difficult to build all AA guns.To do so in wood is required a lot of patience.

Wood is a very natural and enjoyable medium to work with. Song has been doing this for many years and is a master of the craft!
Kongo and her sisters were amongst the most useful of the large Japanese ships, seeing many battles and a fine carrier escort. Their most equal correspondent in the USN were probably the Alaskas. Enough for a fine carrier escort and not too big or too slow.
