Yeah Avery Boyer, if you can put up the site, that would be cool!
kidcurrie 42, that Coral Sea is looking just Fantastic!! Curious, what do you use to paint your canopys for your A/C, your EA-6B looks like a "gold tint", how did you do this??
Thanks for the both of you and your time.

John,
It's considered illegal because it's posting copyrighted material (scans of books or other commercial items) for free without the consent of the author/publisher. There are quite a few websites in Russia that offer material in this manner. There is one site that has hundreds of scans (almost the entire Squadron/Signal line and other similar books). The legal system in Russia does not seem to be much of a limit on this type of activity (which if the website was based in the US would spawn a number of lawsuits).
I doubt the authorities would be knocking down your door for personal use of such material (even though it's the same as using a pirated DVD, etc.), but I don't think Cadman wants to incur any possible liability for such material being spread to a US (or non-Russian) audience through his website.

Here are a couple of my a/c for my USS Coral Sea, EA-6B from VAQ-135 and a KA-6D from VA-55, they are both Trumpeter, decals are a combination of the Trumpeter, Starfighter and the tail art done on my comp and printed on a color laser printer.

kidcurrie42,
Have to ask were you got the USS Macdonough(DDG-39) model from? I was on the USS Mahan DDG 42 of the same class and would love to get a model of that class to build.
Thanks
Robin

Thanks for the nice compliments Russ, looking at the review of the 1/700 USS Nimitz 2005, from what i can see your port fwd sponson is a lot better, your build is looking great.
Robin, as for the Coontz class, it is a conversion from the 1/600 Airfix FGS Rommel, it is almost spot on dimensions wise for the Coontz class, i have used parts from a 1/700 CFA, Styrene and weapons from Pitroad/DML/Revell.
if you wait a little while NIKO have a Coontz under development, Nektarios has me believing that whatever i scratch someone comes along and produces it, it seems to be working.
