Great photo's Guys extremely useful and very much appreciated.
Please excuse my caution over the drawings but I am aware that drawings can relate to a refit which may mean the ship now has a different shape to its sister ships. Interesting comment on the camber, certainly the photos suggest the Digital Navy model is a little exaggerated.
Cheers Heinkel51

Hi Desron, thanks a lot for information. Such a privilege to be member of a comunity like this, that we can learn a lot. In portuguese, for Naval Art that is called "Luz de Alcanado".desron48 wrote:hi jimmy.....the english term for that is.....stern or wake light......joeJimmy Conway wrote:See here in yellow arrow the rear navigation light ( I don't know the right therm in english for this light.... )

Hi Heinkel, your caution is very welcome, and just demonstrates your love for the art of model shipbuilding.Heinkel51 wrote:Great photo's Guys extremely useful and very much appreciated.

I try to do my best when giving some information, and hope to always be bringing help.
Some other way, I try to be very objective, and when not doing this, is for I'm not certain because references are poor.
For the camber, you could just eyeball a little bit, but referring to pics.
Yes, I think the plans of Digital Navy have some incorrections, but they are very good and interesting.
Cheers!!!

Some great resources and advice, I can see I might need to raise my goals.
The main frame is now complete.

Deck added from 1mm card and also started on the superstructure being made out of 20 thou.

I've decided to go for the corrected bow shape this will mean cutting some new frames but then I definately need the practice.
Cheers
