Hello again all
I have good news!! Although still in ICU and listed as "critical", the CIC seems to be turning away from the abyiss, and is on course in the right direction. Somewhat of a "miracle"if you will. The last 24 hrs. were the worst. All indications suggest that she will get out of this horrific mess.I feel a weight lifted off. Still a long way to go. Doctors are causiously "optomistic". I'll take it!! Better than dead. Keep those prayers coming! For sure it is working. Thanks to all!! I'll be back............

Hello again all
Once again, a heartfelt thank-you to all of you for your support during this very difficult period. Just a short word tonite, The CIC still on course and getting better everyday,. Today she was aware family was here with her and myself. There is no greater love than that of a Mother to her children. I think that them being here made a big difference. I'm just the Husband. That's OK. I'm with her too. Your kind words, and I am sure all your prayers, have certainly helped to get me along. I must keep myself together. Can't wait to get her out of drydock, and back on fair winds and following seas. Even though we are in cyberspace, we are all brothers. God bless you all, and thanks again. I continue on..........................

I wish you both a pleasant navigation after all the mess is over, with steady winds, following seas and clear stars.Bill Waldorf wrote: Can't wait to get her out of drydock, and back on fair winds and following seas. Hello again all.
Just a short note here.............. CIC now breathing on her own without mechanical asistance. I hope she will be off the respirator tommorrow or Tuesday. All vitals continue to show marked improvement. Her condition is still critical, but with guarded optomisim. Many bridges to cross yet. This is a real beach to deal with. I would not wish this nightmare on anyone. I am hangin' in there. I am trying very hard to be strong for her. I have managed to make the mold box for the main turrents. Nothing else at this time. Perhaps a pour in the next couple days. Stay with me guys, I need all the help I can get. I will try to go back to regular job tommorrow. Thanks....................... Trying to continue................ Bill W.

Hi Bill,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have been in your situtation twice, and I know how hard it can be. My very best wishes on your wife's speedy recovery.

Hello again all!
Once again, thanks for all your support and prayers. It is working!
This morning at 0830 hrs., mechanical assistance to breathe was removed. CIC now awake, alert, and talking. First time in 8 days. She will be moved out of ICU perhaps as early as tommorrow, and may be home by the end of the week. I am perhaps a bit over optomistic on these estimates. But I sure hope this will be the case. Still a long road ahead.................... Another ocean to cross. Stay tuned............We continue on.....................
