Simply amazing work Jim! The rigging and sail just look spot-on! The amount of detail in this scale is incredible, but even more importantly you succeeded in capturing the feel. :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Thanks for sharing the entire build process. It was an absolute joy and inspiration to follow!

This is very impressive work. The rigging and sails look incredible. The water scape is the most convincing I have seen. The last shot really captures the intricate work of this model! :thumbs_up_1:

Hi there Meister Baumann and all.

As usual, absolutely stunning work. One of the most surprising constructions I have ever seen. The hull and the sea are as perfect as 1/700 scale allows to build, and even if necessarily reduced to the bare minimum the rigging is kind of a miracle to me. I cannot imagine how it could be made better. Even studying the pictures is already a headache to me.

Congrats Meister Baumann, and lets see what comes next.

Best regards to all from the stormy Atlantic,

Willie.

If you send me your e-mail address -via pm or e-mail ( jbyachtservices (-------------) @gmail.com)

remove bracketed hyphen lines)

I can send you my paper blank file
you can download it as jpg , scale it 1/350 ( x2 from my 1/700 Breatagne to your Savannah scale ( 1;380?)

then design your sails, print off at highest quality on a inkjet printer

( laser makes it grainy) and make sure you varnish the paper with spray enamel
and hey presto you have mouldable ssails that are impervious to moisture!
