Hi Andy I'll have to pay more attention to the rest of the ship as I've neglected this for months.

Extremely impressive indeed. Makes me drool here.
I also want to start my Udaloy, although Im sure it will not look half as good as this one!
Ill be back home in about nine days or so.

Please continue on this one!!! Im getting good ideas for my own build!!

Dave :wave_1: ,

Excellent build so far. I have gone through the last 15 pages of this thread, many times, over and over, looking at all the small parts and details that you are working on. Really great stuff, and a lot to learn. Thank you very much for taking your time and showing us the steps.

Hello Mitchell 300 Thank you for having a look at the Kiev build and I'm really pleased that you find it interesting. Well , as I have said many times on this board if I could produce models at 1;700 as good as yours then I would be very happy indeed. Keep up the good work :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :wave_1:

At last an up date in three parts. Then more up dates to follow .
On each side of the superstructure forward are feed cables which are
formed using .4mm brass wire.
Image
The brass wire is measured and folded over the top edge to meet the base
of the Top Sail array
Image
The surplus is sniped away
Image
The next stage is to cut to size and solder up 2 small aerial arrays.
Image
This is then fitted into place. Also a start has been made on cutting out the
PE for the rails.
