Hi John,

I hit 50 in Nov and it seems like that kind of thing happens more often. Hang in there and good luck!

These models have now moved from the slipway to operational for now.

I guess your just gonna have to save some pennies to come to Wagga N.S.W. Australia Next year. We always look after visitors, and who knows there may be a USS Enterprise or Admiral Kuznetsov next year.

Well hopefully I am back, I had a commission restoration that knocked the crap out of me for months and modeling was not fun anymore, but that is complete and I actually am looking forward to cutting some Styrene,

The Restoration was a 1/96 Scale, Clemson class 4 Stacker, USS Preston DD-327, made from Aluminum or some kind of white metal, it was all mangled when it arrived in a maybe 6" x 8" x 3' box, it took hours of painstaking bending to get the masts straight again, then I basically stripped it down as far as it would go so I could give is a WD-40 Bath and remove the corrosion caused by the different metals reacting against one and other, searching and finding parts was another headache.

What is it? looks like some kind of presentation build, ship builder to CO or something, anyways the guy I did it for was speechless and very happy that he could now display it, it was passed down by his Grandad who served onboard.

Hi John,

Good to see you back in the game!

I am in the same boat! We just moved from Jacksonville down to Cape Canaveral. I can't find the PE I got for my 1/350 SCB-27A Kearsarge. I know its in a box somewhere. I really don't want to order another set. They are pricey!

I need to start another 700th scale carrier. I am nor sure which one tickles my fancy though.

Anyone else looking at getting the 1/350 scale Gallery SCB-125 Intrepid? That is going to be a must purchase if it really shows up. Maybe I will start working on the airwing so that it will be ready.
