Does anyone have a template for make the new stack and single mast location. I am looking at building two Korean war CV without the angle deck but they have recieved the initial Island change.

I would recomend one of these plans:
G-CV33
http://www.floatingdrydock.com/G.htm
It sounds like you are looking for a SCB-27A/C configured Korean War Carrier. Kearsarge didn't get the angled deck (SCB-125) conversion until after 1955 so I think these plans are what you are looking for. I get these plans and take them to a blueprint shop to have them shrunk down to 1/350 or 1/700 scale to use as a template for scratch building. The SCB-27A ships were pretty similar so you could use these plans to do Oriskany, Essex, Lake Champlain, and of course the Kearsarge if you are looking for Korean War participants.
I would contact Floating Drydock and make sure that they are the "Straight Deck" SCB-27A ship vice "Angled Deck" SCB-125 ship to make sure.
Good Luck,
Mark

Looks great John,
The level of detail available in just the last few months for ship building is just incredible. It is also very pricey. I like the figures but it would be over a $100 to do a really good flight deck full of troubleshooters and such. Oooooof!
Keep it coming! I am finishing up the sponsons under the deck on JFK. So far the kit goes together pretty well.

Okay, started on the hangar bay. I said before she will not be fully detail. Just enough to see thru the openings.

Looks great Red!
And for the record, that is actually a lot of detail that you have so far. Well done.
