Gordon, you have certainly pushed me to do better work on my carriers! My 1/350 Essex is being built with your standards in mind, and I hope it to look as nice as your builds have looked to me.

The USS Intrepid CV-11 is now finished. The Dazzle camo made this an interesting build. I hope you have enjoyed the build as mush as I have.

I moved this from WIP to Completed Models, Gordon, since you are now finished. Excellent work!

I didn't see this build while it was in WIP but was very interested to read through it now. Very nicely done and well documented too. :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

John, I'm now working on a couple of crusiers. Here's what I took to my local IPMS meeting yesterday.
USS Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh's bow being towed and the USS San Francisco all 1/700.

FWIW, I believe that McKeesport (name of a suburb of Pittsburgh, name bestowed upon the severed bow section of USS Pittsburgh) remained inverted throughout her lassoing and subsequent salvage. See photo collection in Navsource: http://www.navsource.org/archives/04/072/04072.htm
