I like the Abescon floatplane trainer, but it did not serve in 'action'. It would make a dramatic R/C model though, especially if I could arrange the floatplane drogue tow.
Some of the later ones have great camouflage schemes.
I liked your drawings showing how Mariners were refueled as, along with a 1/48th scale Mariner, when moored at a buoy, the refueling scenario would be interesting.
Hopefully the floatingDrydock pans have hull lines.
