HMS Eskimo - 1/350 - Trumpeter
Almost finished! Build went rather well although I had some troubles with the paint. I overdid the weathering a little bit in some areas. I used the WEM photo etch set.

Weathering looks spot on to me, I like a realistic ship.

This evening I did the smallest of the 4 boats:

I also made one of the Radar Yagi Antennae:

Only I'm confused as where it is supposed to go. According to the instructions, it should be 'mounted on a plastic rod pintles' (no idea what a pintles is�) and 'fit into the curved extensions to the rear of the bridge above the forward AA deck'. I think that's where I drew the red circle in the image below. Am I correct?

A pintle is a pivot mount like a pin that the item can rotate on.
I haven't found any clear photos that show the antenna in that spot, but I have seen small pins sticking up from the edge of the bulwark in and near the area circled, maybe 5" to 10" high.
