Just picked up the type 2 pe ship .. Should i keep it as a all pe ship or do a half pe ship and half plastic ship? And will there be a type 1 PE ship release from rainbow as well?

I've been wondering when this would happen. With this new RB type 2, we are now seeing 100% PE ship models.

But, they will be sharp looking.

Looks like I translated not correctly. Items not yet available, they will be realeased apparently at the end of this month. I don't think it is an upgrade. Just noticed that it is a complete model. Not much plastic left.

That's a pretty good link/synopsis of the class.

AFAIK, all of the ships have those intakes to either side of the lower bridge face.

Hey dan found an awesome fourm on this class! Check it out im sure youll like! http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.p ... ding-ship/
As for those wierd air ducts they are on the front side of the bridge. They are those big triangular objects, under the twin aa mount. Some landingships have them some dont :/

I'm not sure I know exactly what you are referring to.

Sounds good to me! Do you know why some of the T1s have those big air vent things under the twin 25mm mount in the front of the bridge and others dont?

Re: Calling all IJN landing transport ship fans.

Despite the 25mm being covered with tarps, I'd say the T-1 does not have shielding. But, the post war ship does. Your choice.

Hard to say. I would think the later the commission/refit, the more likely shielding is put in place.

Yes! So it dose look like the twin mount is surrounded by metal plates and the singles mounts are then just railing and when its has the canvas ties on the rails, it looks like metal plates (due to the photo being black and white) just like on the destroyers! Thanks Dan! Im assuming it would be like this on all T1 landing ships of this class?
