I paint basically by my own choice and apply some of the decals the same. The deck decals are aftermarket as I was not going to attempt to paint them on. I did not use all the aircraft provided, but I am still happy with the outcome. It took me five days. The waterline is not accurate but at least I got it straight and even though I taped off twice with other ships to get the red also, as they were much smaller, I was not about to do it with this one. And I had repainted the life raft canisters gray from the white to reflect the way they actually looked. The Tamiya paint instructions are wrong in regards to this.
