What-If Kriegsmarine Type "O" Battlecruisers

Anyone interested in seeing the actual hull lines for these ships? Some found by the US Naval Technical Mission after WW2.

Here are the 3 plans I found-

I cleaned up the profile pic sorta roughly, to try and keep the image size manageable.

The commentary says this was drawn at the behest of the US from Herr Hennig in 1945.

Sean,

I have heard that the navy collected plans for several German and Japanese ships after WWII. Apparently some, if not all, are in the National Archives. Do you know where I can find a list of the ships, or lists of the drawings. How do you get copies of these drawings?

Hi Sean,
Are there any more references for this particular ship? I also want to build one and with those hull lines it would really help taking care much of the hull construction. But for the superstructure part, all I could find was simply side and top view.

Aop

Looks like the 1942 small US BB design at the bottom!

There is a book in French called "Plan Z - Le Fantasme Naval Allemand" by Pascal Colombier (Caraktre Presse & ditions) which includes several 3D-renderings of the P, O and M class battlecruisers.
