I see that the Trumpeter painting instructions call for and illustrate a fairly light-toned overall "neutral grey" paint scheme above the waterline. I always think that a shame. You see it a fair bit in Youtube videos too. Some immensely skilled and dedicated modellers, but they just follow then instructions and end up with inaccurate colours. Which is a great pity.

Anyway, hope some quality super detail sets emerge soon for Royal Oak and Resolution in 1:350.

The official cover of the latest HMS Resolution ww2 model from AJMMODELS POLAND. The model will be available from distributors at the turn of May and June.
