2026 IPMS USA Nationals - Ft Wayne Indiana
Heading west tomorrow morning (8/4) for Ft Wayne and the 2026 edition of the IPMS USA National Convention. As usual, I'll make sure I send Cadman pictures of the ship model entries, and anything else interesting in the vendor room. If you do Facebook, I'll also be posting pictures there, on the Modelwarships page.

Just uploaded 198 pictures to Tim. Hopefully he'll have time to post them. Lots of coverage over on the MW FB page as well!

Next year for me. Is the Chas. Morgan the old Revell kit?

Thanks for the pics. The above photo is the whaler Chas. Morgan, I think the classic Revell kit. In the linked gallery is the even older (classicer?) Aurora Wanderer. Both showing an appreciation for the subject. Some very nice work.

I loved that there were TWO whaling ships on the tables. Both with flensing planks rigged. Both extremely well done.
I have very fond memories of my own Charles W. Morgan build. Which sat in an honored place on a shelf until my mother felt compelled to dust it off.

Is this link up on the "what's new" page? I didn't see it until I came here...

A mothers dusting is no models friend. Yes, both whalers looked good. The patina(patination?) On the Wanderer was a nice touch.
