Re: Carrier Builders Yard, whats on the Slipway
Hi everyone !
I've been quite busy in the last few days. I restarted the 1/700 tractors production. And I'm working hard on their 1/350 couterparts. Here's a pic, I'm still using my pink plaster, which is great for carving. You can see a P-25 fire fighting mule and a 31A towing mule. The spotting dolly is under construction. I'm also making the flight deck scrubber and mobile electric power plant.
On the pic I hadn't yeat removed the whole plaster around the towing mule.
I hope the 1/350 sets will be available by the end of the week.

Well hello strangers, some great work going on around here. Hopefully I'll have something to show for my own work soon. I'll try to hang out here more, too.

Hi All,
Here is a little coffee time build, i love these Hobby Boss 1/700 Sub kits, fit is so much better than the old DML sets, i just hope they continue with releases, i would love to have the Delta's, Yankee's Juliet's, Foxtrot and Charlie's along with all the NATO subs.

ORISKANY PICS!
Drumroll please...
Tada!

Alright, I know, I know, extremely anti-climactic. She DOES have hangar walls, but they are being reworked a bit prior to being fitted. Pics to follow hopefully this weekend. Hull bulges are 75% finished on the starboard and 90% finished to port. Will get these finished this weekend. Next up will be new bow and then building the hangar. Then exterior details, flightdeck, final detailing and assembly and completion of the island. Hopefully this summer! She has a long way to go, but she is starting to look a bit more like a carrier under construction and less like something you'd see dragged up at Alang lol.
