ASFC your build is coming along great, looking forward to seeing more, with regards to the radar, if you depict her at sea any direction would suffice as it would be constantly turning, in harbour the flat face to point forwards.

Thanks for the Compliments guys, always means a lot coming from fellow builders, There are actually three models in the background, USS Hornet CVA-12(DML/Scratch and Starfighter decals) USS Valley Forge LPH-8(DML and Starfighter decals) and USS Hancock CV-19(Hasagawa WW2)

Well, I haven't got my "real" build for the Nats. I'm bringing BHR and Nimitz, both in 1/700. Neither is contest quality, but I have to bring something... I'm also entering my German UH-1 helo in 1/35, which I think is a better build. I'll have Essex ready for the local IPMS meet in October.

My class favourites:, hard choosing between Midway and Coral Sea, both look so different, almost like different classes, Enterprise, America and JFK are all too different to classify

The old axel deck Midway's have a place for me. But the Supercarriers a tie between Ranger and the young CVAN BigE. :big_grin:

Latest Progress on Ranger, decaling of flightdeck complete weathering and flat coat to go, Island is progressing really well and i am impressed with my home made VF-1 decals.

Kicking up a Storm, Two Desert Storm Veterans, Ranger is very close to completion, Flightdeck weathering and a few weapons and Aerials to go and the Airwing.

Ranger's decals on the way. In the mean time putting the air wing together f-8,f-4,a-4.a-3. still haven't made up mind about the year 62-64. pics Monday. Ranger's looking real good John. wonder which of us might do add ons.
