Happy modeling

Right now I am tinkerin' with the 1/542 Forrestal and am thinking about adding a partial hangar deck in the foreward section. I need to order stuff for the 1/800 Arii Ranger so I can backdate it.

O.K I screwup big time. when I finished takeing photos of Ranger,I knock over a new jar of black paint. The jar fell into the Enterprise hangerdeck and cover almost all of the new bulkhead I made. Took a rag to clean as much of paint, but it was pointless. Ripout the bulkheads start new ones next Sunday. Ranger's up at the other site.

thanks Ed, Ranger should be done Monday without the airwing. Mark has to see pics during that time period. don't want to put a phoney set on a ac.just got off work redoing the bulkheads of Enterprise.
Hiya gtb,
i had a close call a few weeks ago, a full bottle of liquid cement, luckily my shorts and the carpet took the most part of it, took ages to get the smell outta the carpet. good luck with the re-build.

ooooh man that's not good! no sweat about the rebuild. Ranger first.
Good stuff John! I will post progress pics of Essex today or tomorrow - I am sticking to this one until finished! Also just found out last night that I had gotten an award at Nationals for my 1/700 Nimitz for "Premier" - meaning "first-timer" there.
It is certainly good incentive for me to do better work. I can't believe Peter Van Buren didn't place with his 1/350 Nimitz - it was incredible!
