Calling all Heller 1/150 ship of the line fans

I have ordered Heller's La Superbe yesterday, and would like to start the thread here, to gather the experiences with this kit and other ones from this line.

I have also initiated the interlibrary loan for "Le vaisseau de 74 canons", all 4 bands.

I would like to replace the gun barrels with brass, could anyone suggest me which size these shall be, and a good source for relatively cheap ones?

Also, would the 15 mm figures be ok for the crew, or are these too big?

Well 15 x 150 = 2250 or 2.25 metres.. quite tall dont you think? What have these guys been eating?

You are right! I will be using the 10 or 12 mm figures, would be much more in scale.

I will also tackle the Alanger's Goto Predestinaciya as a "training" model same time.
