Heiko,

This is another wonderful model that you've scratch built! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

We are all always wondering, "What's Heiko going to build next?"

The videos are clever and well apprecriated, with me.

Thanks Carl, much appreciated! I'm glad it turned out the way it did, with scratchbuilds...you never know.

Continuing with the more "exotic" theme... Next up is a Formidable Class frigate of the Singapore Navy. The last 3 ships were really the ones I had in mind all along, after this next one, I really have no idea what ship is next.

Heres my S 31 "Almirante Garca de los Reyes", ex USS Kraken, a fleet snorkel Balao class submarine trasferred to Spanish Armada in the fifties.
Shes made out of a 1/700 hobby boss Balao kit.
Hope you like her.

Heiko, your F 311 is extremely nice. As she was built in Spain, I have seen a ton of pictures of her, and cant find a single error in your build.

Thanks Luis, and a good looking S 31! I'm also a big fan of your Blas de Lezo!

Thanks Nektarios, and also another nicely improved CV 66. How exactly do you weather the deck?

It is really simple Heiko, i simply use the same colour of the flightdeck and brush it on the areas were decals are placed except from the smaller ones which will dissappear if i do this.

Hi guys,

it's been too quiet around here, I hope everyone's doing alright? Here's an attempt to break the silence.

I have been busy lately and haven't really had time for the hobby, but working on it every now and then, I managed to finish the next build, minus the paint.

She's going to be the RSS Supreme, the sixth Formidable class frigate of the Singapore Navy.

Needless to say, the mast was the biggest challenge. I'll post more pictures when I manage to find time to paint her.

Nektarios,

thanks, I'm glad you like it.

Submarines? Sure! I've been thinking about a submarine naval base for quite some time now. So many ideas and things I'd like to be working on and not nearly enough time.
