Navy Yard, Volume 16, Spring 2011 issue has an article on a full-scratch built model of a proposed Kongo/Hirago Class BB replacement ship.
Appears to feature Yamato's main armament, plus a fourth, two barrell turret. Beautiful raked funnel and additional secondary armaments. Not much AA armament on this build.
Worth a look.
