Thanks Carl,
That is the Jag kit. Its the second Jag Newport I built and I also did a Cascade version. This was a pleasure to build. Plus I found it marked down to $30 behind some other kits at my LHS.
Here are some photos of a mini diorama of the third ship of the SAAR V class corvettes of the Israeli navy. This is the ship that was damaged during the 2006 Lebanon War after being attacked by Hezbollah, apparently by a C-802 anti-ship missile.
On the workbench:
Various 1/700 aircraft.
Juan Carlos I LHD 1/700.
HMAS Canbera LHD 1/700.
FGS Type 122 class FFG 1/700.
LSD-41 class LPD 1/700.

Looks Great Nektarios, Is this a kit or did you kit bash? Kind looks like you kit bashed a Kang Ding frigate. Either way a nice job. The C802 did little damage. It hit at the water
line too! Good thing the Hezbollah's don't have Harpoons
On the Bench
1/350 Independence
1/350 Dunkerque
1/350 Shimakaze
1/350 Sharnhorst Dragon
1/350 Belfast
It was about time Nektarios to finally put a ship on a seascape... Looking good, your next effort will be much better...
Try looking at photos of the particular ship you are building when underway to better realise the wake and pattern of the waves it produces as it moves... Speed is an important factor too...
Got to get my Daring finished I think...

I ll try to improve the wake pattern. I know it is not what i do best. In this diorama Hanit is supposed to cruise much slower than the two RHIBs

I resuming building model warships and I choose LPD-21 New York from Cyberbobby since I like these type of ships.
What references from Vallejo colors would you recommend to paint with brush the vertical surfaces (light grey) and the decks (medium/dark grey) of this LPD?
