Daniel Jones used to publish a quarterly mag called Plastic Ship Modeler. In one of the issues was an article about building a flooting drydock in 1/350 scale. I beleive it was written by Ray Bean. There may have been other diorama info but it was all scratchbuild.

regarding 1:350 dockyard stuff, I like to remind you that Imai had, way back in the eighties, a set of three small ships for a harbor setting, indeed called a 'harbor set''.

It consisted of a harbor tug 'Sir John Hall', a tug that was employed in real life by the port authority of Aden. Also included were a 'Brandlmayr' motor cruiser, and an 'Irwin 52' sailing ketch.

The set is 2nd hand available on Ebay, on and off.

trouble is, people often get carried away with themselves, you're asking where you can buy them from ? Have a look on ebay, also on WEM site and others, you'll find etch, plastic and resin, castles in 1-700 and 1-350 and trees and other stuff on the railroad sites, cut them down and make scale trees from them.
So many times you're see something wonderful displayed and not a sniff at where you can buy them from, people here bend over backwards to help, but you'll have to ask what you want rather then what you would like.

DD-class graving dock, buildings and cranes, including ocean base. $32.00 US.

In total, a much wide range of cranes, buildings and graving dock sizes than has been available before.

Cranes and buildings are also sold separately, pricing in the $5.00 - $8.00 range, US.

Material appears to be laser cut wood/paper.

Just a note - these are "papercraft" kits, made from bonded paper. They assemble best with superglue/CE, but be accurate about your joinery, because it sets quickly!
Water-based glues that some use for PE assembly distort the paper (which eventually returns to near-form). Will post some pictures at some point.
