With some spare time between buiding TID 164 and finishing the basic hul of VIC I decided to build a Thames Lighter to accompany the TID 164. The design was quite simple taken from a free plan from Marine Modelling Oct 2012 issue and made mainly from balsa wood with brass towing fittings. Here are some photographs of the two together.

Last weekend while sailing my TID164 I managed to shoot some film and put together a short video of it towing the Thames Lighter I built.
