Hello guys, firstly I want to apologize that I dint wrote untill now. I didnt have much time to wrote into two forums simultaneously. Now I have problem and I have to ask you if there is someone who can help me. Phase of building came to point of "no return" - I have to make decision how I will set deployment of aircraft on fly deck. I was looking for an answer whether planes can take off & land at the same time. I wrote on the official website of Enteprise. CMC wrote back to me and his answer was nothing definite. But he confirmed the ship was able to launch and recover aircraft simultaneously during the Vietnam conflict, nothing more nothing less.
The question is if there was possible situation when Phantom was ready to take off and at the same time came Intruder. Another question is about setting of planes on the deck. Each one is armed and ready to take off, just waiting for free runway

Your ship and airwing look great! Well done!
As far as your questions go:
Yes, the ships can and do launch and recover aircraft at the same time, so you can have a Phantom ready to launch on the catapult, and an Intruder just having landed.
As far as you planes loaded for combat and waiting for take off, you have them spotted pretty well, you could move the intruders and phantoms closer to the laqnding area, there are red and white "foul lines" painted on the deck to show where they do not want planes parked in front of during landing operations. My only suggestion is that the Hawkeyes would probably not be being readied in the area the combat planes are getting ready. Almost every picture I have seen has the E-2's spotted in front of the island along with where you have your Helo's parked.

Of all the truly great BigE builds on this website, this is the one I'm into. Why because of the beehive.
