Model Assembly Tips

Post by ImperaTodd »

I am new to the forum, so hi everyone. Second I need advise on assembling the model in the picture. The turrets have metal posts that are about an inch long, I am not sure if I should them or not. Any tips on are welcome also. Any advise is appreciated!

I would drill through the turret base on the ship if it were me.

If you want the turrets to rotate afterwards, then Tim's suggestion is a good one - keeping the long pins would prevent the turrets from easily falling out. If you don't mind them being static, though, then just cut the extra length and leave enough to fit into the hole that's molded into the top of the barbettes, gluing the turrets down.
