Thats brilliant, I was hoping they would redo it.

Anyone an idea as to what sort of standard it is? Is there likely to be any thrid party add ons av available, PE , masts , decks, etc?

Hi Atma
We have got the end of the 2013 and where is Fujimi's IJN Hyuga in all gun version?

Atma wrote:Well well, let's finish this thing once and for all. My favourite Japanese battleship the all gun IJN Ise and IJN Hyuga is still far away from a proper release from Fujimi.
The reasons:
1)IJN Ise and IJN Hyuga is more popular in the Japanese market in the Hybrid version, and less popular in any version outside of the Japanese market. And this is reflected by the low sales of 1/700 and the 1/350 version of the IJN Ise outside of the Japanes market.
2)IJN Fuso and IJN Yamashiro turned to be high sellers in 1/700 and 1/350 and there reasosn is that they are very popular in Japasene and foreign markets.
3)We will definitely see one more version of Admiral's Hiraga "what if" series - IJN Tosa(?) -, and that means no IJN Hyuga in all guns version in the first months of 2013, cause it turned out that IJN Amagi/IJN Akagi(the battlecruiser) was the best selling 1/700 model in Japanese market for the 2012, BUT not a 1/350 version, the size of IJN Amagi class is huge and the cost of a model in 1/350 will be prohibiting to repeat the success of the 1/700 version.
4)Im 100% that by the end of the 2013 we will see a IJN Hyuga in all gun version. Im trying hard for this, after all there was a test model in Fujimi offices(the hull and the main guns, no bridge or any other structure) in August 2012. The reason for the delay is that an all gun IJN Ise and IJN Hyuga is a tottaly different model from a late war version, is not just extra 2 36 cm turrets. Hull, pagoda, main guns had different roofs, deck and I repeat, the main HULL.

And lets not start talking about cancelled Fujimi projects.

Edit:

Fujimi just recently released an IJN Hiryu and the modern JMSDF Hyuga in 1/350. More will come in the next months.

Wood deck, photoetch and barrels are already available from Vector Cut, Tom's and BMK respectively.

AFAIK these particular vessels are new in injected form. Whether they're repops of other class members with some mods/updates, I couldn't say.

IJN Inazuma (Type III) and Murakumo (Type I) are repops of their extremely nice Fubuki class ships . However, they are including their new NE07 accessory kit, which seems to be strictly Fubuki class DD details instead of the older E-10 DD set. Guess I should add this to the CASF Fubuki class thread.

For fans of Soviet and Indian carrier fans, Hobby Boss released its kit of the Soviet carrier Baku, which later became the Admiral Gorshkov, which in turn is now in Indian Navy service as the INS Vikramaditya:

Amazing.
I very much doubt the Chinese (Kuomintang) representative to the ceremony is included in this set :heh:

A heads up the fujimi 'release' of 5500 ton cruisers, are the old tools.

Yes I'm a victim..Avoid at all cost. And I will not be pre-ordering any more Fujimi products from this point onwards. :wave_1:

The Fujimi IJN CL kits are on Hobby Search with enough info - both kit pics, instructions and very low prices which are clear indications that they are repops.
