Besides the USS Iwo Jima there's no mention of 1/700 new releases in Trumpeter/Hobby Boss catalog. However people in the know said that numerous 1/700 kits will be released. Look for announcement at Nuremberg.
UN-altered REPRODUCTION and DISSEMINATION of this IMPORTANT Information is ENCOURAGED, ESPECIALLY to COMPUTER BULLETIN BOARDS.

From where, Heavy? Keep in mind the catalogues posted by Hanchange only contains kits released under those companies' labels.

Anyone else excited about Trumpy's Abercrombie/Roberts monitor in 1/350? It's nice to see some smaller subjects being released in 1:350 plastic, as I actually have a realistic chance of completing them. As we have a nice selection of destroyers now - maybe we will start to see some more "unusual" smaller subjects like these monitors. I wonder how hard it would be for Trumpy to make an APD out of the USS England mold? (I've wanted to try my hand at scratchbuilding one from the England kit, but considering it takes me forever just to finish something OOB ...)

Saw this today while ordering my Derfflinger. Definitely very interesting--would make a very cool and, relatively simple, RC model (only one turret, etc...).

I downloaded the Zvezda 2014 catalog http://bit.ly/MlmmsS and did a scan through:

vessels flagged as "new for 2014"
pg 30 kit 6164 1/350 Soviet Armored Boat
pg 55 kit 9035 1/350 K-3 nuclear submarine (November class)
pg 56 kit 9052 1/350 Battleship Marat post 1928-1931 reconstruction
pg 59 kit 6505 1/350 "Armada Invincible"; 6509 1/350 Golden Hind; 6510 1/350 Santa Maria

I know they had a November class before, so why call it "new for 2014"?

And we've known about Marat for several months...
