Yes acoustic hammer used to counter acoustic mines.

Example at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MMS-class_minesweeper

Roberts would have been fitted as she would be working close inshore.

Anyone have any clues what's going on with the new Aoshima 1/350 Maya?

Dragon had it listed for presale with a March delivery date, and I ordered one. Then the date was changed to April, and now it's gone from Dragon's site altogether.

I checked Aoshima's site, and they show a release date of 12/15/13.

Weird....

I pre-ordered the retake of the Aoshima 1/350 Maya together with the etching-parts back in october 2013 from hlj.com and received it in early december 2013. It was available only a very short time at this site, maybe the retake is already sold out again.

I checked HLJ and they have it listed as backordered, Hobby Search has it listed as sold out, and Plamoya has it in stock.

Yet, it's not listed anywhere in all the usual suspects in the US: Freetime, Scalehobbyist, Hobbylinc, Tower, etc.....it's like it hasn't been imported into North America.
