Mirrored backed display case.

Post by Betelguese90 »

I have a few models I have been contemplating building individual cases for. As of now, they care in an old glass display case thst has a mirrored back. I was wanting to keep that similar style and incorporate it in the individual cases, like have 4 sides (top, front, left and right side) glass or acrylic, but then have the back mirrored. My question is, what would be better to use: mirror paint or mirrored sheeting or adhesive laminate ? Has anyone had experience working with both? If anyone has examples of a similar style case, I'd gladly like to see them.

Thank you in advance

At my local hardware store, I got packages of 12" x 12" mirror tiles for the inside of my display case. So far, I have not been successful with cutting the glass to fit the odd margins, but everybody says it is easy, and perhaps it will work for you to cut to the inside shape of your individual cases.
