Nice builds and good to see that someone is interested in this.

I am very much interested in traditional boat building too, but have no idea about Russian boats. Could you post some bibliographic references ? I gather they would be in Russian, but it would be good to have them anyway. Thanks.

The topic is very extensive. In Russia a large number of indigenous groups with different specific skills of shipbuilding. Later I will try to provide links to some English sites, and other sources.

And yes, I am aware of the cultural and ethnic heterogeneity and their associated boat-building traditions.
