1/350 Russian Heavy Battlecrusier Peter The Great

Finally completed the first of 1/350 scale Kirov Class Heavy Battlecrusier the Peter The Great.
Having built this kit and updated the ship to her current technological state as best as I was able to research I can see how these vast vessels where of great concern to the US Navy Admiralty when they where built.

The Trumpeter kit offered quite a challenge as it was clearly a Kirov with a few modifications, much had to be scratch built to get her as up to date as possible.

white Ensign Models accessory kit offered some usable parts but was meant for the Kirov so some of these had to be modified as well, I also got the accessory for the Russian Slava Class Missile Cruiser which was a great help.

So here, I present my 1/350 Peter The Great

Looks great.

Beautiful type of ship, well executed presentation.

I have one of these myself I plan on tackling at some point in the nearish future.
