Battlefleet models

Post by raggs »

Has anyone here recently ordered from Harry @ Battlefleet models?

I've sent a couple emails inquiring about items, and since I've got no response I'm leary
about placing an order.

Thanks,

Paul

Last November I ordered a model from Battlefleet. After several months of excuses from Harry I gave up and got a refund from Paypal. I'm done with Battlefleet now.

He's been very inconsistent for the past several years. There's a query like this every several months. Clearly Harry has had some health issues, but he also does seem to have recovered from them. After reading several of these threads over several years, I don't think I'd risk an order directly from them.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I'll be diligent.

I dropped him a line on Battlefleets F/B page also.

Hope the guy is OK.

So my 12 year old son spent his allowance money saved on some parts from Battlefleet Models. No parts were received. No reply to our e-mails. Phone number rings but then disconnects. I understand health problems can be debilitating but keeping your website up and running to accept orders that you never fill is not a justifiable action in my book. Buyers beware.

HERE 'S A VALID TIP CONCERNING THIS THREAD.

DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT, EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM BATTLE FLEET MODELS.

I heard the stories over the last year but I really wanted that C2 Seawitch. Figured I'd give the guy the
benefit of the doubt.

Placed the order, never got a confirming back after two weeks. So I messengered him on his facebook account.

Promp reply, "get them to you next week with a tracking number." Never got that tracking #.

In fact, after NUMEROUS emails to his messenger account, with the same old sad story; We'll get back to you.
Still haven heard back.

So now, I'm a schmuck. And Harry can go to vahalla on a rail!

FYI Martin, Harry told me he never goes to the modeling sites, so he's a flat out flake there too.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered two models from Harry back in May. He shipped me one model then he got sick and I didn't hear anything from him. I tried to get a refund from PayPal and they turned me down. He has promised me multiple times via Facebook he would send it out.

When I complained here about Battlefleet last year I got ripped to shreds on this forum. Like I was the guy mucking people around. It looks like hes no better than he was then.Either be a professional or close the website. The way this guy is acting is just plain disrespectful and unethical. Just because he is a modeler and has some pals here doesnt change that.

Same here, ordered two months ago, tried contacting several times but no reply or delivery whatsoever. I have just started a Paypal claim to get my money back.
