Micromaster 1/350 octuple 2pdr pompom

Post by Stefano Salesi »

i finally received my 1/350 2pdr octuple pompom from Micromaster, and i thought i have to share with you what a beauty they are...

they are finely detailed, and the print is flawless.
i have compared them with the Lambert plans and they are simply perfect, they even have the underside structure with stiffeners, electrical wiring and everything that was actually there on the real thing.
i compared them with pontos, very fire, tetra and flyhawk pompoms, and they are superior to them in every single aspect.

some pictures to show what these gems really are.

the printing support removal is quite easy and straightforward, altought i have to say that im pretty used to work on 3d printed parts working in a 3d printing company, but a good pair of robust, pointy tweezers will do the trick quite well.

definitely a must have for royal navy modelers
