Nice work. How is working on these 3D kits compared to injection molded kits and resin kits?

So these are pictures of an actual 1/700 scale Forrestal that is 3D printed. Where and how can I purchase one !!!! I would also like to find a 1/700 Coral Sea CVA-43 , and get 3D CVA-59 , 60 , 61 , and 62.

They show up at a certain auction site. Note that the plastic used in these 'kits' is different from regular injection molded kits and resin kits. Most relevant if building them is that it tends to be more brittle.

Impressive model! :thumbs_up_1:

@ Christoph: were all parts of the kit printed in the same quality or were e.g. the small parts printed in a better one?

I am asking, because the smaller models by Gaga (South Korean destroyers and frigates) are printed in very good quality, but e.g. the larger HMS Implacable is printer in a lower quality.

The quality of the small parts was not really convincing. I replaced most of them (armament and radar).
The finish of the print is really good.

Thank you for the reply!

Nick did also replace all the small parts in case of his Implacable model.
